Citizant, a leading provider of IT management consulting and enterprise software solutions to the U.S. government, announced that it would move its headquarters office in November 2013 to the Washington Technology Park building in Westfields in Chantilly, VA.
Citizant signed a long term lease for more than 18,000 square feet in the building at 15000 Conference Center Drive, which is owned by Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). The company did not disclose other terms of the lease. Steve Hubberman at Serten Advisors served as Citizant’s real estate advisor throughout the year-long search for new office space.
Alba M. Alemán, president and CEO of Citizant, said, “All of Citizant’s employees are driven to help our federal government customers work smarter and leaner. These new offices will provide a more modern, efficient, effective, and flexible environment in which to do this important work. All members of our team have worked responsibly to produce an excellent agreement with COPT that benefits Citizant’s employees and stakeholders and sets the stage for a positive, long-term leasing relationship.”
